For my Mom
The mother I miss
Sits high in Heaven above,
Smiling down her love.
My ideal mother,
My friend, mentor, example.
In her arms loving embrace.
Taken far too soon,
I wonder what would have been
If you were here now.
Your great grand children,
Bearing your's and our dad's names,
Your legacy lives.
So much love for you
This day which honors your gifts.

An honor to do so.
I'm a staunch non-beleiver as far as religion goes, but what I do believe is that our immortality lies in the hearts of those we touch in a positive way while we're alive.
It's obvious your mother's immortatility is alive and doing quite well.
