I think that was my first poisoning cinquain. Come to thin of it, it's my first cinquain. Was it good for you?
Tasty poison indeed.
Never buying those again.
Nice cinquain, but I'm sorry you've been poisoned. Especially by crackers.
ho ho and hey! very good food for thought. your delivery makes this morsel a lot of fun.
how are you feeling BTW? I've been thinking about this since you posted.
funny cinquain this!...munches mindlessly ignoring Mister yuck symbol on the saltines...r
Never had much truck with saltines. Never thought much about why. This may be why.
It's been a tough three days. Thanks for asking. Hopefully I'm on the mend.
hope you are feeling better...
this is hilarious!
Catherine, you've been a big help and support throughout. Thanks.

Cap'n, ditto. Not so good, though.

Matt, thanks.

vanessa, they were with the rodent bait, not intended for human consumption. As mouse bait, they're dandy. To serve to a wife? Not so much.

Monique, thanks. At least I can try to laugh about it. Or write poetry. Too hard to write otherwise.

Maria, you're very sweet. I read your cinquain right before I posted this (wrote this last night, however).

Bea, was some better yesterday, then worse today, then better tonight. I'm hopeful I'll survive.

APM, your Saltines are probably fine. Enjoy. Never take crackers from a man served on a plate (the crackers on the plate, not the man).

David, they were actually Club-type crackers, off-brand, way past expiry. Not to be confused with the fresh ones we had in the house in the non-mouse bait section.
well, NOW i am embarrassed. i always post a comment, then i read the other comments. in this case, it looks as if i have a size 8 in my mouth. sorry, dear, i really thought you had a bad tasting cracker and wrote this, it never occurred to me that you could actually be poisoned by a bad cracker. please excuse my ignorance. still - it is a good cinquain!
It's okay, dianaani. You wouldn't necessarily know, and I did make a laugh out of it.

robin, xoxo.
Poisoned crackers - who would've thought? Hope you are well soon. Good cinquain it brought about.
It is nice to get some humor in the cinquain.
So sorry for you - but so glad you kept your sense of humor!
Wow! I'm glad you're better, Mrs. Borgia.
This is why humans should just stick to crusty Italian bread. Great cinquain!
This is very clever (though eating the crackers wasn't . . . . ) Well done. Hope you're feeling even better today!
Well done. Glad you didn't find a peanut...
I don't know where I've been, but I missed the whole business with you being sick. That being said, I am glad you are better. R-
Glad to see from the comments that you are better! Wow!
Goodness not - you were actually poisoned by a cracker!? I wouldn't have thought that possibly - so sorry. Food poisoning sucks big time and i can't believe you were able to write a funny cinquain while suffering that! sure hope you're feeling better. i thought you were talking about junk food - sorry.
Thanks those of you who've commented kindly and inquired about my health. I'm still not 100% but hopefully on the mend. Warfarin and club crackers do not mix well. Oy.
