Lake Louise

This photo is gorgeous just by itself.  To me it represents friendship, fun and peace.  I visited when the lake was covered in ice and snow.  I can't wait to go back and visit.

Kaysong - have now downloaded the image for the OS Collage. Thanks. BTW, if you haven't done so already, please rate Skeptics' post for OS Avatar Collage Version 2.0 so it can go up on the front page and get more exposure for the project.

Love the photo. Our family loves the Canadian Rockies, especially the Jasper area. Want to go back again . . .
Thank you, squirrel.

I'm glad I joined in, mary!

Thanks, Dragonfly. :-)

Thanks, DW. I've rated Skeptic Turtles post. I have a friend who lives in Canada - I can't wait to visit again.
WOW. Look how still that water is! Amazing photo!

THUMBED to the max!
Beautiful. One of these days, I want to attend the Banff International String Quartet Competition. Looking at this picture, the desire is even greater.
Steve: I didn't know they had a competition like that. The scenery plus the music would be a winning combination. If you go, winter is just as pretty as summer.
Kaysong: It is well worth the trip to see Lake Louise in the summer. Check out Lake Malinge while you're there. It's only a few miles away and the backdrop to the lake is so famous it appears on Canadian money.

Beware of the lodge there: they charge like $20 for a stack of pancakes!
Travis: Thanks for the tip! I have a friend who lives in Prince George so I hope to be back soon.
I love Lake Louise, beautiful photo.
