Thursday night, the Future Committee of Center Stage Playhouse
met to follow-up on a number of items on our agenda. Tasked with identifying the steps necessary to continue the non-profit theater group's mission, we presented summaries of all the work we had done over the past few months. President Elliott Robinson will share details of our programming plans (which all of us are very excited to start implementing). We also comfirmed the completion of our grant application, investigated a number of venues for future productions, discussed all of our communications initiatives, and much more.
It has been a labor-intensive, time-consuming period, but we are optimistic that all our efforts will pay off and Center Stage will continue to provide quality, affordable theater to the Bronx, just as it has been doing since 1969.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the process and to everyone who has wished us well.
Stay tuned. More info to come.
