30 Miles of Crazy: a Colfax Odyssey (part III)

Rate: 5 Flag

July 2010 197

July 2010 199 R - R Lounge July 2010 200 Sara's favorite car July 2010 201 Bastien's - home of the Sugar Steak and Old-Fashioned Cocktails July 2010 202 East High School, all aglow from the sunset July 2010 204 East High Clock Tower July 2010 206 Pete's Kitchen July 2010 207 Pete's Satire Lounge July 2010 211 The Legendary Lion's Lair - no matter how it looks, this has always been one of *the* places to play. July 2010 220 through the windshield and rain July 2010 222 State of Colorado Capitol Building July 2010 225 on certain nights, apparently the ghost of a gold-miner can be seen chipping away at the gold dome. July 2010 227 the rainbow's end is always at the Denver Diner

I'm enjoying this series immensely. Road musicians call these neighborhoods home, as you might guess. Well done.
Great stuff. I love the journey.

my companions and i have to re-do certain stretches of the street, so hopefully some more road-trippin' in my own backyard soon.
These pictures are fantastic...I love the bar/lounge marquees and their neon. Thank you for posting this series.
