The clouds continued to spit rain as my two companions and I made our way from East Colfax to West Colfax, hopping over I-25, the vast expanse of railyards, coal-trains, and salvage lots in the process.

A small aside: as the evening wore on - it was about 8:15 or 8:30 by this point in our journey (we began our trek at 6:15pm), the clouds got more and more interesting as the sunset began to illuminate them.

Amity: those sure are some crazy clouds!
me: yeah, pretty insane!
Sara: yep. The Insane Cloud Posse.
Amity & me: *blink* followed by crazy laughter
Amity: Sara, you win, for all time: you win!)
