The skies they were ashen and sober;

thank you, Bob - Denver has had such a long and warm fall this year, that it was such a luxury to wander the gardens and see the fall colors coupled with the still blooming summer flowers. thanks for stopping by.

km, your artistic touch shines in this post. Your ability to compose and frame, the other choices you have to make in exposure, depth of field, aperture and speed all show that once again I get to say you should remove the word "hobbyist" from your bio. The pictures are gorgeous, and the choice of poem was perfect. I love the contrast of the evergreens with the orange and gold leaves. Those colors NEVER looked good when I used them all together with my crayons...
