My Cartoonist is a working artist. He is an illustrator, a cartoonist, a writer, etc., and is one of the most talented people I know.

'Femme Fatale' Ink/Digital Color, Jan '10 'Femme Fatale' - Karl Christain Krumpholz - 2009

As a working artist, he is locked up in his studio and doesn't get out much to see if people know about his work....

Karl's Pekar is fathomably deep. I've been to the home page many moons ago (mostly Byron) and must now make bookmarks anew and pursue them. In a quiet moment. Great post.
thanks for stopping in, Stacey! his portrait work has been getting deeper and more affecting each time he does a new piece. he is getting ready to work on a new protrait show here in denver (opening in January) and will be posting new pieces at the blog-thing as he finishes them. so glad you like his stuff. :)
Love it, thank you for turning us on to this talent..
I love the background textures, the fingerprint on Waters. In general I'm a fan of accident, but the Byron cover puts me in mind of the best of Hirschfeld, in a very good way.
Please tell him thanks, and thank you.
wonderful fabulous work. love it. and I see he used you as a model in Die Byron Die piece. =)

beautiful übertalented stuff.
