On 11/15/08, Denver joined the National Prop8 protest. The rally was held in Civic Center Park, and the march went down 16th Street, into the heart of downtown. It was a beautiful sunny day, we only saw a few counter-protesters, and we rallied and marched with 1000+ people.

My friend James saw a t-shirt at the debates and wrote a pro-Obama pub song. It's catchy and fun to sing, in a Pogues-y/Flogging Molly-ish kind of way, all the while being bouncy, political and to the point. Just the sort of thing to take one's mind off of everything… Read full post »
