Not sure what to put here. I'm not much of a joiner, but this might be cool. I see art all the time as I wander the streets. You might not think it's art, but you're also not the one with the camera and this swank blog.

Nice pic.

I do similar stuff. Please check me out sometime.
Rich, I friended you ages ago and make a point to stop by and drop ratings your way. Your stuff is better than mine because it has value added (words).
This always happens when scorpions chew gum. They can't resist blowing bubbles which somehow encase them. That's why scorpions have stingers. It's to pop the bubbles.
Hey Scruffus... this was part of a larger mural that covered one entire side of the drainage ditch. Sadly, I could not get far enough away to capture the whole thing. I think the "bubble" was supposed to be a rock -- but I do like your theory.
So, I'm assuming you reside in the desert somewhere, perhaps the southwestern U.S.? I remember that scorpions wandered around fairly commonly there.

Nice photo...
Rick, this photo is from Utah and I was only passing through -- although I plan on going back to stay for a while when chance allows.
A fellow photographer I think. I like it.

Hey, thanks. This helps explain why sometimes I get more ratings than comments.

I have all these projects I never follow up on. One is documenting bathroom graffiti. Another one is photographing the goofy names of every hair salon and barbershop in America. It occurs to me that this project could only be accomplished by enlisting a huge network of photographers to go out to every city and berg in the country and document all of the names and associated signage. You know, like "Shear Madness" and "Cut Loose" and the innumerable other groanworthy names that describe getting a haircut.
I like the way the scorpion is all variegated gray. And the pink? Can't quite figure it out, which is probably why I like it.
