What a lovely snake-in-the-grass!
An albino boa, IIRC - there used to be one in the San Diego Zoo snake house. They're rather more a faded ivory and yellow color with garnet-red eyes.
(Yeah, so I liked the snake house. Chalk it up to my Dad's early training! ;-)
Snakes without politics--how refreshing!
My pick could be the frog as in the whole Kermit song - it's not easy being green.

I rather enjoyed green tree frog myself...but the hibiscus flowers are rather special...are hibiscus common in Texas??
Hibiscus are very common in Texas or at least in South Texas where it doesn't freeze. I've seen yards were they are hedges.
It is a lovely piece.
I, of course, prefer the lizard. It is even smiling!
