I've gotten messages like that so frequently when I have tried to get on OS that it's likely a GOOD thing I've been dealing with an impending death/death in the family for the last two weeks.

Yeah, I've lost content like that BUT, when sending a PM, it often sends anyway. How or why, I don't know. Always check to make sure it didn't go before you start from scratch.

Guilty as charged. I am inane. I know how hard that was to type.

I only get PM's from blog prostitutes, never an error on those. From what I gathered on your error report it said the computer had a brain fart and tripped. Or the computer there thought you were spam trying to get an EP. Kind of looks like notes to a Nitt Romney speech. I'm on drugs....................o/e

I figured out what it means.

It's a firewall blocking message. It looks like they (OS admin, or their third party) installed heavier firewall protection to block the trouble they were having with spammers, and sometimes it blocks user requests anyway. It's the administrator server shutting down, so it's not outside interference.

Even sites loaded with heavy graphics I get to as fast as the click of the mouse; everywhere on the net, except OS. Apart form some minute details, OS site is simply very slow. I do understand that OS does not have the money for technical improvements and fixes.

As for the "message" I think it is an accurate depiction of post-modern Americanism. R

Some of my writing takes work, with my editing, reorganizing, coming back to it. This was mainly just reacting. I probably edited the paragraph once.

Kosh, my comment was meant as a joke, and to my knowledge this - and I mean the Lots of Error text- is of a code one, and certainly my comment has nothing to do with your writing abilities...

To say the least, I was only being sarcastic about my writing, and surely not yours.

Kosh, we used to get a mop and bucket graphic/screen every day along about two AM or so (US time) for roughly an hour, supposedly while the site was down for maintenance.

I've spent part of the day off and on trying to remember if we had as many techie problems (aside from our beloved spam) during the mop and bucket period as we seem to now.

But I can't really say, honestly, since even now I rarely get the error screen on my end - then again I've been here so hit and miss lately maybe I'd be experiencing more problems if I was here everyday like I used to be :-/.
