If you're on the northwest side of Chicago this Saturday at Noon you're welcome to hear me reading some funny stories about working, not working, dogs and my urban childhood.
You've had a taste of my stories about work since that's how this blog got started. I've experimented here with some of the urban childhood stories, including the story of when the astronauts came to town when I was in grammar school. That story made it into the book.
The book is "My Humor's Working (Even if I'm Not) (follow the link to Amazon)." The reading will take place at noon on January 22, 2011 at:
Mather's more than a cafe
7134 West Higgins
Chicago, IL 60656
773.774.4804
Let me know if you can make it. It would be wonderful to get an OS group together.
