I thought I'd enlighten everyone to the LATEST of news as a result of Obama being the President-elect...

Now that a black man has been voted president of the good ole' USA, all the whites are going to be taxed WAY MORE than the blacks, AND all the whites are going to be rounded up and put into concentration work camps!!!

YEP... that's what's going to happen according to some of my (Should I even admit this?) helpless, completely RED, ignorant, sheltered, I-can't-believe-there-are-such-clueless-people-on-the-planet relatives who are just TOO DAMN STUPID!!!

Yes, they actually have said this... I'm NOT kidding!!! 

I think they all will be trying out for roles in the movie "Idiocracy 2: The Dumber and More Pathetic We Get, The Better Off We'll Be"!!!

My husbadn was at his job Wed morning and this guy walked in and said "Well, everyone should just quit their jobs because the government's gonna take 'em." WTF???

My husband just said "that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard." What's wrong with these people? I told him he should have said - you first!

Don't you actually feel a little sorry for these people who have worked themselves up into a total panic about something that is never going to happen? It's crazy. We had a letter to the editor of the paper today that was more cautiously written than what your friends said but was essentially the same ignorant sentiment. The guy really thinks Obama hates America!

Thanks for your comment, Julie. My ex-husband, who is such a Republican muck and a Bush-a-holic, said the EXACT same thing! I called him during the election and rubbed it in by saying, "It looks like your boy is LOSING!" Then, we debated, calmly, about the election. And then, he made the comment. I started laughing!!!

Now I understand completely why we get along as friends but didn't get along as spouses!

Yes, buckeyedoc, I actually do feel sorry for them. I don't get how people can be so misguided. Those of us who have a clue have tried to educate them, but they just won't hear it. I guess they will have to find out for themselves. They actually think Bush did a fine job and that "Obama is going to take this country down", as if we're not already there!

I guess they are right, and the rest of the world is misguided... according to them!

My mother-in law called last night to tell us that her husband lost his job - stockbroker for Wachovia. You can see my post about her and her email during the campaign. Anyway, she started saying that she was really excited about Obama and this and that. I felt really proud because I sent her a link to factcheck.org and thought I must have made her think. Nope. In the same breath she said, I didn't vote for him though. What? I just said well, I did and I did it as much for me as I did for you. It's like bizzarro world.

Hey, the good thing is that we now know who these people are and can be sure to stay away and never invite them to parties.

Last night at a local bar n grill, a middle-aged guy was watching Obama coverage and remarked, " We're gonna be picking cotton now."

After one of his tablemates who saw the look on my wife's face, nudged him, he said, " What? There ain't no blacks in here."

These people have me completely blown away and shell-shocked! I think they're still living in caves or something and are still trying to figure out how to use fire! I mean, I know there are some really ignorant people in this world, but my head is shaking as I'm laughing.

I'm glad I figured out how to get out of the cave a long time ago!

My little 8-year old son wore an Obama t-shirt to TaeKwonDo a couple of weeks before the election, and this sweet little innocent girl in his class, the same age, said, "Obama is gonna make us all slaves."
I believe that says it all. Kids learn from their parents and other kids who have learned from theirs...So sad and so far to go.

You are so right, Greg. Kids don't come up with that junk on their own. They get it from their parents, from school, and from the media. Fortunately, some learn to use their own minds when they get older, but unfortunately, a lot NEVER do!
