Couldn't McCain pass for the Wizard, who's magic is, after all, all smoke and mirrors?

There's a lot of fodder for analogy in OZ, isn't there?

Absolutely, Steve -- I went there in my imagination as well. Palin could be the wicked witch of the (north)west as easily as she could be out of her element as Dorothy, but not as easily photoshopped!

Actually, Liz, I thought McCain could be the Cowardly Lion just as well...I am not sure how they chose the other characters -- just looked funny with them all together like that!

UK, yes, Judy is spinning in her grave. If she had Palin's set, she might have lived longer...poor, Judy.

One more bit of silliness -- the Oz photo made CNN's Jeannie Moosts most interesting photographs. Running against this one, is a photo of the candidates pohtoshopped to make Obama look white, and McCain look black...this is still my favorite! ;)
