Just got back from three days in Tallahassee attending the annual REALTOR"S DAYS event with ten members of our local governmental affairs committee. It was an interesting experience being the only liberal in the group, but they played nice with me ;)  I have to report that I enjoyed myself immensely!

 I LOVE Tallahassee -- what a beautiful and interesting place! Lushly landscaped, with restored historical buildings blended right into white concrete, steel spires and parking garages. I have LOTS of pics to send in another post as well as some interesting updates on tax relief and other necessary legislation that will do much to help the housing sector in its recovery.

Since I have appointments all day, straight through to 8 PM (yeah!?), the main purpose of this post is to thank a special group of OSer's who have remembered my birthday today. Big thanks to all of you -- your PMs mean more than you will know as I love my OS friends and appreciate all of you!

Coming into OS today, I discovered that OS was launched on my special day. We share the same Aries sun sign placement which helps explain from an astrological perspective my huge affinity for this site. An Aries sun sign at its best, represents the leader, the pioneer -- one known to charge ahead in championing the underdog in the face of all, usually coming out a winner! What better way to describe the huge success of Open Salon?

So, Happy Anniversary to Open Salon, and Happy Birthday to Me! I am pleased to be conjoined by the powerful energy of our mutual Aries Sun!!
