April TV

Rate: 0 Flag

There are only two things that will make TV worth watching this April, at least as far as I'm concerned: the beginning of the last pod of Season 4 episodes of Lost, and -- above all -- the return of Battlestar Galactica. It's still unclear whether BSG will get the full complement of episodes for this, its final season; the writer's strike at the very least means that we won't get to see all of them at once.

Otherwise, as someone who has never managed to stay interested in a reality TV series for more than one episode, it has been and will be mighty slim pickin's. Last fall's season was a bust as far as I'm concerned, and recent new series, from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (crushingly humorless) and Eli Stone (excessively twee), have been disappointing, too.

BSG is supposed to have 20 episodes, split into two half-seasons. You MUST post about the last 4 episodes of "Lost" this season. Apparently, there will be blood. And I've slipped into permanent "This show sucks!" mode, which isn't professional or fair. Help me, Laura-wan Kenobi! You're my only hope!
