Black & white photos of black guys with shades tend to call up memories of the Black Panthers for me, but I thought they were pretty cool at the time too.

I remember doing a drawing of a clenched fist with the words "Black Power" emblazoned at the bottom in art class in 68 or 69 and my parents got very uncomfortable about it.

I was just channeling the mojo - and I expect we'll be seeing lots more interesting art coming down the pike pretty soon.
