So I'm posting it here to preserve it, in case my stupid hard drive ever up and dies on me again.
Enjoy!
I just liked this tune, and thought I'd lost it.
And there are a few more out there, but none I like as well as this one.
Do you still sound like this? Because it's totally in. I mean, I call this "coffee house angst" and it's more in now than it was whenever you did it, if it's that old. You so have a career in this if your writing goes downhill. Yeah, Stella, I can just hear "I learned the truth at seventeen, that love was meant for beauty queens..."
I sing too--not formally, but used to study voice at the Cleveland Institute of Music and was always in choirs. You have a much better sound than I do. Much more marketable. God, you could knock me over with a feather with this.
(Stick your teenage daughter up front with the guitar and mic and do all the work yourself behind the curtain.) (Oh, this makes me laugh just thinking about it. I'm feeling so silly these days.)
I really love this song. I'm pasting the link into Word so I can return and hear it again later... had to listen to it very softly this time because the house is asleep!
Tom, Cartouche--thanks. (I seem to be saying that a lot, but I really mean it!)
Thanks for sharing this. It's wonderful.
Rated.
But I'll mull it over.
