Auditory Torture

Rate: 14 Flag

I was "exposed" to this yesterday evening. I feel I need to share this experience with others :)

And I have to say the leather vest really clinches it. Happy Tuesday

Because I'm a bit sadistic today, here's his version of Smoke on the Water:

I'm sure there'll be some sort of karmic payback for posting these...

come on...you know you want to click the link. listen. drink the kool aid. be forever scarred.
whoa. that is a snappee tune. uhhhh...I feel violated. I think I should play this for my death cult. xox
you should hear the cover of smoke on the water. screams band camp. our dog was so disturbed she got up off her bed, walked to the laptop, whined, and walked out of the room.
I agree with Robin...this needs to be mandatory listening for all the death cults.

What in the name of all that is holy possessed you to bring this to us? GAHHHHHH! IT WON'T GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!
Good lord..I've just been musically raped.
my partner made me listen to it last night because one of her friends sent it to her. i thought i'd share the "fun"

and because i'm sadistic, i'm going to add his version of smoke on the water that i was also forced to listen to.
Montrose will never be the same. In my mind.

I must go lie down now.
Um. Why????? And also, he can't shake the nice guy rep, it ain't gonna happen. Oh, Pat Boone. What a silly goose.
Oh boy.. nothing to say but...why??? I listened to the whole last album once. Why?
shudderrrrrrrrrrrr

TME - i'm still snickering from your comment. that's an excellent way to put it.

connie - i think i'm forever scarred by these.

elizabeth - why is an excellent question. i asked myself that a lot last night after seeing these.

linda - some things just shouldn't be done...ever!
meh . . . I've heard worse. I can see what he's trying to do. I just can't figure out why he'd want to do it . . . especially in public.
When I saw it was Pat Boone and saw the other comments I was too afraid to listen. Whew!
AAHHaahhh! Hah! I remember this when he put it out. He actually said he loved this music. At the same time, he was doing the religious circuit, damning gays to hell. One swell guy!
Isn't this the guy with the white shoes or am I mixing up singers I never listened to? _r
I was thinking of writing love letters in the sand in memory of an april love when I heard this bad dude coming from master's computer speakers. Must be a funky white boy

Buffy
Thanks for the best laugh I've had all night. I'd forgotten PB had his wild days.
I thought you liked us!
I'm with your dog on this one, lemonpulp!
owl - worse? wow...i'd like to hear that.

sophieh - i can only imagine what you were thinking when you saw this. i know the reality was worse than what i imagined...

scanner - i was speechless when my partner played these for me. he must have been "possessed" or something.
ann - why did i post or why did he do it? i can't imagine his motivation. i wanted to share the "fun" :)

joan - i think he did have white shoes. i never listened to him either, but this was too good to resist.

buffy - funky is one way to describe him. our dog didn't like the sound either.
lemon. You are evil. Give me some kool aid and put me out of my misery. Now. And I don't know, but seeing Pat in the leather vest with his chest hanging out - I don't know. I think I'm scarred for life. ~r
kathy - glad i could provide a good laugh. some of these comments have actually been funnier than the songs themselves.

rjheart - always happy to provide material for torturing friends. i had to turn on some good music to get these out of my head. but at night, i swear i can hear a high school band playing smoke on the water...

cuss - i love you guys! that's why i posted something so funny. i thought it would be a nice break from my usual navel-gazing posts:)

terry - i think the dog is still traumatized.
kit - the leather vest is bad. and yes, i am evil. did you notice the little sparkle added to his eye in the graphic? it's kind of creepy...
Are you answering the open call for ghost stories? Gotta be. I tries to listen, I just couldn't take it.
