Fido watches the folks he lives with
Remove their funny skins
And roll around the jungle-size bed
With heavy breathing and grins.
He shakes his head and lowers it
Onto the grey shag rug,
Another tedious afternoon
He'd rather share with a pug.
But then he scoots to his full height
And can't restrain a bark
As the humans finally dress again--
They're taking him to the park!
