LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!! Each day I grow more & more thankful for all that my life is filled with. I have a beautiful, wonderful, sexy, loving & brilliant lady in my life and we are getting married in June. We are the proud & thankful parents of "Roberto David" who was born 5/20/2010 at high noon. What a joy it is to finally become a Dad & I am looking forward to every experience & every phase. I am a high school teacher. I went into teaching to make a difference & help young people to realize their full potential & their dreams. In many ways, I think that I am contributing positively to the lives of some beautiful people; or at least that is the feedback that I am getting from parents, students, and teachers who are sorry to see me leave at the end of this school term (in June 2010). That my presence is making a difference and that pleases me, more than I can say. I have accepted a teacher's position at a college in Vermont. I have 4 guy best buds + my dad, a wonderful big brother & sister in-law; a great group of Air Force brothers who I served with. My dad, my brother & his family are all moving to Vermont as well, so this summer is going to be quite an exodus & pilgrimage for all of us. I like to paint, read, write, &make love to my beautiful lady (not in that order naturally). I play the guitar & drums (I have a band). I also play sports and coach a little league baseball team & a basketball team of teenage guys at the community rec. We have two dogs (Samson & Delilah). I love fishing, camping & attending sporting events. Also, encouraging others to respond positively to life's challenges, is what I am about. I know & help those people who are suffering from some major challenges. Helping to enhance their quality of life is where my energy and heart lies. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!! It can be, if you work very hard at it & accept the stinky part that sometimes comes with it.
