The May 5 "super moon" was followed today by an impressive double sun halo over Dallas, TX USA. The first shot was with a Nikon D7000, the second with my iPhone (and a sunglasses filter!)

Coincidence????? (Probably.) But the same layer of upper-level clouds responsible for the hazy glow around last night's full Moon is probably what's also creating the two rainbow-colored halos around the Sun today.
