I make this when my fridge gets close to being empty before the next weekly shopping. It's so easy, cheap, and delicious that I just have to share it.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cans of Tuna in Water 6 oz
- 2 cups of Cooked Rice
- 1 Can of Peas
- 1 Small Onion
- 2 tbsp Mayo
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- Salt to Taste
Cooking Instructions:
-
Start by cooking rice. If you have some precooked rice, even better, it will only take 5 minutes to make the whole meal.
-
Open the tuna cans and drain completely of water.
-
Open the can of peas and drain.
-
Peel and chop an onion into small pieces.
-
In a mixing bowl, combine rice (warm or cold is fine), tuna, peas, onion, mayo, pepper. Add salt if needed. Feel free to experiment with other spices, a lot of them go very well with these flavors.
-
Serve warm (if the rice was still warm) or cold with a side of sliced tomato if you like.
- Enjoy!
