It's Sunday afternoon, and I find myself in a state of self reflection. Am I doing what I am supposed to be doing? Is there some other place I am supposed to be? Am I just hopelessly weird?
In my narcissistic self-analysis I have arrived at a conclusion that if everyone was like me, this country as we know it, would probably collapse. Here are just a few things that would get messed up:
- No one would sign up for military. No offense to anyone, but I don't get that one. You got one life, why spend it as a cannon fodder?
- Sarah Palin would not sell a single copy of her book. She wants money, but why would you give it to her? If I really was that interested in what she had to say, I'd read a few pages of it at a bookstore.
- Bloggers would not make any money, since I never click on ads. Well, okay, once in a while my mouse slips. (I don't mind when someone clicks on mine, lol. Not everyone is like me, anyway.)
- Cosmo and all other similar trash magazines would go out of business. I still don't get why people buy them.
- Houses would be cheap, because no one would buy a house unless it was a good deal. Why be a debt slave?
- McDonald's would go out of business. Why eat that crap?
- Infomercials wouldn't make any money. Who watches that stuff, anyway?
- Organized churches would disappear. Don't feel like explaining that one right now though.
- Credit card companies wouldn't make money, cause no one would use them.
- Urban sprawl would not exist because people would prefer living in towns and cities where they can walk everywhere.
Oh and I can go on and on. But I know I am just weird, and this country is still here cause not everyone is like me.
