To me, this is a no-brainer. You do your thing, I'll do mine. I'm straight, you're gay. I'm black, you're white. I'm old, you're not. So what?
I don't understand how it is anyone else's business what two consenting adults do in private. Does the idea of being sexual with another woman turn me on? Nope, I'm straight. Does the idea of two men doing things to each other that make them hot give me the creeps? Nope, I do some of the same things with men.
The idea that this is a religious issue is ridiculous, but even if it were a religious issue, that should be between the Deity and the individual. Where do the so-called Faithful get off deciding what's okay and not okay for OTHER PEOPLE? They have all they can do to keep themselves on their version of the straight and narrow.
Of course the LGBTQI community should have the same rights as everybody else. If the money-grubbing, soulless, unscrupulous, lint-licking, fiscal rapists of Wall Street can have rights, there should be no limitations for any other human being.
