Desire
To spread your wings
And soar above the clouds
Dare to dream and find contentment
Aspire

Nobody desires more than I. I have no wings. I suffer from acrophobia. My dreams are misanthropic. I am too old to aspire.
Other than that, I think your post is delightful.
Mark: Thank you! I am so glad you were cheered by my words. I had hoped to bring something positive to such a day as Sept 11.
Patricia: I have come to know and admire you immensely as a person who does have wonderful dreams and aspirations ... a person who is always trying to better themselves and do better for others. Thank you!
Dave: yes, Yes, YES!!!!
l'Heure Bleu: If my words have uplifted you in some small way then I am both humbled and thankful.
Marty's Husband: I've come to love Cinquains too! I guess that's obvious because I've certainly written quite a lot of them lately.
anna1liese: Thank you, lovely lady.
Pilgrim: Let's take it to the moon and back!
Jerry: I agree! 'Dare' is definitely the key word! And thank you my new friend for the beautiful, inspirational line from Thoreau ... Imagining beyond the 'what is' is to believe in tomorrow and to be a builder of new beginnings.
Matt: Thank you!
