Scrumptiously Sibilant

Rate: 28 Flag

Sliding from the silky, satin sheets

Slowly she saunters to the terrace

And scans the sparkling, star-sprinkled sky

As slender arms loosely clasp her svelte, scantily swathed silhouette

So too her thoughts encircle her sweetheart

She smiles as she recalls their tryst...

His strong embrace holding her safe and secure

          Lips that tease with nearness

          At last bestowing passion-soaked kisses

Whilst hands slide up to her soft, supple breast

And trace circles around her sensitive, cerise nipples

She is lost now

Caught in the exquisite snare of sinfully-sweet reminiscences

Of two lovers seeking to please

And thirsting to be satisfied...

Slow, tantalizing caresses gracefully seduce their souls

Hearts, minds and bodies of two lovers now aroused

          Suspended over the precipice

          Oh, yes, such blissful anticipation

          And then … surrender

          Surrender to sweet, sweet ecstasy!

As she stands now on the circumference of sensual abyss

She sways slightly

A soft breeze strokes her sun-kissed skin

It whispers to her spirit and begins to sing a song

A song so enticing

So stirring

That small goosebumps rise and glisten

So once more she slips betwixt silky, satin sheets

Some Sunday silliness!
s'loverly. s'wonderful!
Wow! Simply splendid stuff for Sunday!

Lezlie
Chicken Maaan: It's so s'marvellous to see you here!

Lezlie: So sweet of you to say so!

Bleue: Sighing ... small or colossal ... is permissible!
Silliness? Certainly not! Instead, she speaks softly of satisfying sessions of sweet love, bringing smiles to the minds of whosoever has the simple fortune of visiting and thus can savor her success.
Wow! How seductively seducing! I didn't know you wrote this kind of poetry. What a way to start the day! :)
Pilgrim: If this be not silliness that brings a smile, but something plausible of praise, then, please, let me express my sincere appreciation!
Patricia: Surprise! ‘Tis just a piece of nonsense!
I don' know bu all these ssss's here Kate....
I like them....happy to read this as I am wearing a big smile now dear.
Loved this..

Mission: Yes, all those hissing sounds .... scary stuff! : )

Linda: Stimulating stuff, eh???!!!!
Rita: A colossal smile graces my face!
I'd comment, but I'm hyperventilating!!! : )
JD: Slowly ... suck in some air ... exhale ...
Oh, Kate, you are obviously having a more exciting Sunday than me. Loved it.
nonesense...this is certainly not silliness. This was beautiful and I must admit you had me run to the dictionary (online, of course) to see the word Sibilant. I loved how you used that and then ended with the silky, satin sheets. Well done. See what a little vacation on the high seas can do for you?
Can't........breath..........clutching my heart.......wait...is THAT my heart........????????????????
Janice: Perhaps it's only my silly imaginings, Janice!

Trilogy: Ah... a nice new word ... sibilant ... a hissing sound! I owe you a return PM too my friend but have to head off to bed now ... It's 1am here and I get up at 5!

JD: SHEEZ!!! STOP! LISTEN! Breathe I said ... slowly ....
Sensational, seductive, sensuous - but not silly! Silk sheets beckon me.
♥R
Kate, may clouds of love be your pillows tonight.
cerise!

Nothing silly about this! Pure passion persists in your writing and it is awe inspiring! Somebody's gettin' some! ;)
Fusun: You bless me with superb, expressive words of gusto!

anna1liese: My thanks for such sweet wishes!

Julie: Something tells me you liked this!
succinct, and satisfying
Yowza!
Husband! come back home from your out-of-town trip! I just read the most delightful turn-on of a poem....
catch-22: “Cerise” is flawlessly sibilant, is it not?!

Persistent Muse: I’m smiling, Muse! You’re so welcome!
This is truly beautiful. I wish it were morning again. Ah, well then tonight. -R-
Sweet......and hot!
Not ssss's like a hiss dear more like sss's from a long kiss.....gawd Kate. I live alone...
Just Cathy: Ah friend, your words embrace and squeeze me tight!

DH Austin: Nicely stated!

Just Thinking: Smiling ... and sending good wishes for his speedy return!
Christine: As the sun settles on the day, may sweet wishes come your way.

LL2: So you liked it? ; )
So sorry if I tease you! But a long kiss-s-s-s of hello and thanks, my friend!

Linnnn: Like sausages blistering on a barbecue? : )

"As she stands now on the circumference of sensual abyss

nice place to visit, but i don't currently have a passport
to there.

sounds too silhouttey, anyway.
shadows are nice to share a weekend with,
but
often they are overly
demanding...they thirst for annihilation in the light,
and i don't have a
torch
James: No passport? Oh I am sorry! And, James, please don’t let shadows or silhouettes scare you off … perhaps someday one of them just might surprise you in a very nice way.
well, yeah, that is what i hope.

i am surprised these days only by
the incredible gains we have made as a race
due to
the women's rights movement
and the landing on mars.
the mars thing will bring results.
i'm hoping it will be a penal colony for
1.people who watch cnn
and
2. people who broadcast it.
James: Phew! If you get your wish, it looks like I could be safe from any future penal colony on Mars!
Alysa: Your name is scrumptiously sibilant! Alysa Salzberg! Sweet Alysa!
Scylla: Thank you. And Scylla? Stay strong. Please.
Why, hello there! That was...well, sensual. Well said. R
Thoth: HELLO over there! And thank you!
