I also feel like the internets sap our outrage. Look at the 2000 and 2004 elections. Instead of getting pissed off and taking to the streets most people (myself included) took to the keyboards and from our armchairs and desk chairs, we didn't accomplish much, sadly. In the 60's and 70's there would be riots and massive civil disobedience. Now it's emails and blogging and instead of a HUGE opposition, critical opinions are ignored by the political establishment. I think trying to change the course of political will is harder from a keyboard... Does that make sense?
