Oh quit it, Lonnie.

You know who I am.

xoxoxo,
Perfect. Just perfect.
Lonnie, 'who' could have done a better job asking this musical question than The Who? The answer is no one but The Who!
"Eleven hours in a tin can. Lord, there's gotta be a better way."
These guys knew how to rock.

BTW, is this a musical response to all of the hidden identity revelations we've been having lately?

Loved it, just loved it. I just wrote a post on who I am, Mary Joan (Jo) Patricia Koch Hawkins (unrevealed current married name, which would make me sound like a law firm:), Redstocking Grandma
I am not Pete Townshend, and you are Keith Moon
I am the ghost of Christmas past...
I so remember this. Stole the show from some of the biggest bands anywhere. The Who are legend!!
I've been asking myself, who is Lonnie? I thought I knew him... then this new avatar.
I went to The Who concert in Boulder long ago at the football stadium. 80,000 people or something ridiculous like that. We thought we were fortunate to have "field passes". We were at the 50 yard line or so for John Cougar (before he re-became Mellencamp) and Jethro Tull. When The Who came on the stage we ended up all of a sudden on about the 25 yard line, blankets and possessions left behind at the 50. Crowd compression. It was scary as hell but also fun.
There's a rumor that the entirety of OS blogs are manned by a total of seven people.
I might be Keith Moon. But I'm only gonna tell a small select group.
See I remember waking up in a Soho doorway, a policeman knew my. .

Oh sorry. I might have already told you this story. . . ..
I am Dr. Amy Farteur, MD. And I have taken the liberty of writing a new post, entitled, "Great Sex After 50 - Outlandish Lie! (Unless You're a Whore).

Do please come read it.
I am MOMSACOMIC kicking it here on the greatest web site ever made, keep going The Who are an awesome band.
@Stella -- glad you "observed" the bun pun
Bravo! You're not on CSI, are you Lon?

In case anybody wants to see The Real Lonnie (full frontal, not the famous moon shot) and what OS used to be like, check it out: Lonnie's Mustang Sally Serenade.
I am actually three people. Moe, Larry, and Curly
still figuring it out...
lemme get back to you on that. maybe lunch?
i'll have my people call your people...
kiss, kiss...

love this frickin' song!!
Sally, Lonnie, that Mustang Sally video is too good for words. That will now be my second favorite rendition ever after The Commitments. Thanks.
to mr chariot sir - actually most of os is produced by my fellow aliens as an experiment learning how to act human and take over and pee ess joan and zerry and zudy are all aliens too
I went to a Who concert in Detroit (Cobo Hall) in 1970 (yeah, 40 effin years ago) and can still feel the concrete building vibrating. They had 12 foot high speakers set up on the second level, not to mention the ones around the stage. I still talk about that wild night, and evertime I hear The who, I get goosebumps, like right now.
I ask myself that question each and every day.

Rated.
I have known who I am for a long time. Thank God:)
I think you did an incredibly wonderful job of identifying the need for a some 'getting back to business' post - the business of writing, at which you are a master! You've done such a splendid job here. Really remarkable. It is my hope this post is seen far and wide. I've done my bit, now it is up to the readers to see if they are brave enough to see through your eyes, to look upon the beauty of your truth.
Wow, Julie. I hope that's from the heart. I had fun over at your place during the BCS liveblog, but you're right - there comes a time to get back to the serious business of being creative.

I'm ginning up a Foodie Tuesday post to ease in that direction tomorrow; hope you'll stop by for a taste.
@TBL4 ~ now that the Packers are out of the hunt, the only thing I'm looking forward to about this year's Super Bowl is the Who at Halftime.
Hey, you know what other Who song would have worked?

@MJ: gawd... can't even tell you how many times I blew my f*cking brains out cranking Quadrophenia to 11. When I saw the Who (and the Clash) at Day on the Green in 1982 they played almost the whole album. I thought I was in heaven.
Wow! Interesting news!
