More importantly...what do we think of Paul's haircut?
So...all you In Treatment fans...therapists, former therapists, patients, former patients, hairdressers, wanna-be hairdressers, and anyone having just a bad hair day...
What's the verdict on Paul's new hair-cut?
I know, I know...I watch too much TV and YES, I AM AWARE THAT IT IS A TV SHOW and that Paul is not a real person.
I missed the first fifteen minutes, so I don't know if there was any set up for the move and all that. So, when I tuned in, I was a little bit surprised by the new haircut. And, I'm still trying to decide whether I like it or not. It's attractive, in a Craig Ferguson kind of way.
As far as transference, I'm just a girl (woman!) who changes her hair style (& color) frequently. I'm on the edge of going through another whole "growing it out" again phase after having it short for a couple of years, so I'm particularly hyper-aware of hairstyles these days.
While we're at it, what do we think about his new digs? DIY?! I think NOT!

And that cancer storyline of "do you believe you have cancer" was rough on me because ummm until you have had a doctor say you have cancer and it will kill you then you do not know what it takes to believe such an awful thing. And this character was real young. And having a psychiatrist kinda yell that at you first visit would make me run also.
This character needs to go to Colorado and find Mary T. Kelly who I KNOW would never yell at anyone in that situation. And she has really good hair.
But about the haircut. Too damn short.
I really don't care because Gabriel is like one of the sexiest men on the planet and he could be bald or have green hair and I would not care.
It reminds me of a high school blind date. huh.
I was working up toward a love scene kiss. huh.
She was pleasant and pretty as the daylily. huh.
Then, she gagged. She was too overcome. What?
Later we discovered she had a morning sickness.
I fear this TV show will remind me. She pregnant?
Psychotherapy? TV relives stress? O, well-beings?
Self-awareness? TV is for rational? Ay, perceive it.
Ay. Folk can perceive Life in a totally new manner?
Yes. Each day. Now it's sunny. Earlier it was rainy.
Dorinda, yes, the fantasy homes could send a person over the edge. Just your everyday joe living in a $2.4 million brownstone walkup or mansion.
I don't quite get the Gabriel Byrne sexiness - but I do think the new haircut gives him an edginess that wasn't there before.
Arthur - thanks for the poem.
but since no one seems to want to talk about Gabriel/Paul's hair, let's talk about food
well, a couple of things: 1) Popeye's has amazingly good red beans & rice
2) find a good (if expensive) place to eat some reasonable facsimile...here Legal Seafood's has pretty good gumbo and there are a few seafood places (mostly Jeff Black's restaurants) that have respectable fish
3) fly home :-) I've accumulated a fair number of SWA miles, so I go about 3/4 x a year
