3. The quality you like best in a woman: Openness

4. Your main flaw: I worry too much: About my family, my friends, my future.

5. Last time you cried: A few days ago at the funeral of a friend a mere 3 months after her beloved husband passed. RIP, Frank & Diane...

6. Ideal job: Educator ( I love my career)

7. Scent of a place: Highway 1 in California with ocean, flowers and pines, a baby sleeping in my arms, a flower garden in the spring

8. Beloved movie: When Harry Met Sally

9. Book on the nightstand: Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James

10. First and best kiss: First, hormone-fueled jr. high crush. Best, My hubby.

11. You couldn’t do without: The Beatles. They've been the soundtrack of my life for over 40 years. This is my favorite song. It is in my last wishes to be played at my funeral.

12. How you would like to die: Peacefully, in my sleep.

13. Song you sing in the shower: It varies everyday. Today: Peter Frampton's Hour of Need

14. Your deadly sin: Lately, acedia.

15. Your not-so-deadly sin: Gluttony.

16. Your motto:Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions.Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

17. Ideal first date: Wine tasting in Napa Valley followed by dinner at Bottega Restaurant in Yountville.

18. Favorite present: A yearly photo calendar my daughter makes as a Christmas gift for me featuring my 2 grandsons.

19. In the train: In London, on the way to Liverpool, first class Virgin train traveling through pastoral snow and city, anticipating walking in footsteps of The Beatles.

20. Something you’d change in your body: Like many females-weight.

21. Your addiction: Music. I simply cannot get through the day without it.

22. Now on your left: A stack of mail I need to go through, my homemade iced coffee, tv remote, a pen, clowns.

23. Now on your right: My glasses, a crockpot, pillbox, bowl with some bananas that are almost past the eat-by date, sack of Cuties, jokers.

24. Now in front of you:laptop, microwave, toasteroven, teapot shaped wicker basket that holds napkins, a butter dish, oversized martini glass filled with lemons off my tree

25. Now behind you: phone, address book, wire basket stuffed with assorted coupons and notepads, ceramic vase from Pennsylvania holding pens, pencils, and scissors

33. In your future life you’ll be: I wish there was one, but I'm doubtful. However...I'd settle for rock star.

First, what a wonderful list. You have made this post so entertaining; well done. R
Very nice list. I love the California coast, San Francisco and the Beatles too! ~r
ahhhhh man.. that was so sweet.. Thank you.. You brightened up my day..not been an easy last week or so.. this made the bad go away. HUGGGGGGGGGGGGG

"In your past life you were: I don't think I was here before now."

I am the same way.. So much passed but this is where I want to be.. finally... after all these years.

HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Thoth: Candace came up with a good one-thanks for stopping in.

Joan: What's not to love about Cali and the Fab Four! Thanks for sharing it with me.

Linda: Gotta do a bay area hook up one of these days. (hug) backatcha.
Thumbs up for 11, 16 and 17.
as per #7, I wish I could afford to move to coastal CA. Sigh.
Great list! I'll never forget seeing John Lennon's handwritten first draft of "In My Life"---exactly where it should be. In the British Museum. Under glass. Preserved forever.
Absolutely love your list. Hope you review the PDJ book, SF is my favorite place in the world and I adore LS. She is the best friend a person can have.
rated with love
bobbot: +hanks

abrawang: re: #17-- My girlfriends took me there for a special birthday and Michael Chiarello came to our table. I love his cooking.

Sarah: Me too. I am in Long Beach, CA right now visiting our son and I would love to live in this weather year round.

Chicago- I'm glad to learn it is housed for the public and not in a private collection.

Romantic: As soon as my book group gets to it in April I'd like to post a review here. Would love to meet Miss Linda!
I loved your list. So visual and musical. Thank you for sharing.
I love the musical references, and why shouldn't you come back as a rock star??
I like your list and pictures.

On a separate topic, I sent you a PM. I'm leaving a note here as my messages tend to go to spam.

Take care.
Late maybe, but all the better for it, particularly with the addition of those wonderful photos and video clips.

I relate to an awful lot of this from the compassion to the music and that's my favourite Beatle's track too.

Really enjoyed this so thanks for sharing.
This is a really great list! (I wrote one out, but haven't posted it because I thought it was too late, but now that YOU'VE done it...)

I share your main flaw. And I like the "album" wall in front of the treadmill, and all of the pictures, especially the family photos. Frank & Diane look like people who really appreciated life. In fact, this whole post is kind of a celebration of life -- thanks for letting us visit!
zanelle: It's rare for me to post something without music. I just can't resist.

mypsyche: Why not, indeed!

phyllis: thanks for the PM.

Linda C.- Love sharing my musical similarities with a Brit!

suzie: I hope you finish and post yours! Frank & Diane knew how to have a good time together, with their family, and with their friends. I miss them terribly.
Wow, it turns out we share a number of traits and opinions besides our love of music (21), especially #s 1, 4 (especially as of late), 12, & 30. And The Beatles, of course.
Nice list, Lisa! Thanks for playing along. Mr forte and I had dinner at bottega last time we were up in napa. Nice place, isn't it? I've liked Chiarello's cooking since he first opened Tra Vigne all those years ago.
Highway 1, In My live, Linda, so many ones I agree with. And San Francisco, which I'm already missing after only a week back from it. The Golden Gate bridge is the most beautiful in the world.
OMG you will be making Candice so proud.

When Harry met Sally, and the Beatles. What's not to love?
That's an ace exercise wall by the way.
