This is truly a leap of faith. I have done this slow, fast, twangy, not twangy and well crap here I am slightly nervous, slightly embarrassed, slightly thrilled.
I have deleted about 5 versions and I am just going to stop that right now.
My first trip into You Tube land...be kind I hear every mistake as would you, right?
I am going to try yet another, later in the week, or my life, or after I'm dead, dead and gone...
So I'm done rambling may I present to you
Lunchlady sings to her cat Little Man who could really care less...
I can't believe I'm doing this...I am posting and walking away for a bit as not to delete it right away!

Just kidding! It's a leap of faith to put yourself "out there" like this. I've done it before and found it liberating... cough.
Good job!
Rated with hugs
Thanks for giving us that. (do not delete)
Lezlie
Well hell, thank you all my friends, Trig I about spit my gum out "Helter Skelter" toooo funny!
Tone I hope I have good tone. I will try to sing one with music, but when you don't play an instrument anymore ( and couldn't blow a sax and sing anyway) it gets harder to find something to sing.
For now I will leave it up. Maybe I'll write something else really fast so it "disappears" :)
Trudge, you are too kind. I did think I used a bit tooo much sounthern twang but that was just how it came out. Maybe all those summers spent in Texas!
Dr Spudman, that means a lot! I do freely admit this was brave of me cause I was scared, been trying to do this for a full month!
Lezlie, thank you so much
l'Heure bleue , yep he wasn't really interested at all!
Matt, I'll be patient, I have waited this long...

He may not be impressed, but I sure am! Janis Joplin would be proud, and I am THRILLED that you broke out and sang for us!! Now when I tell you that you 'rock' I will also mean that literally! You go, gal!!!!
I loved this! And I love a good southern twang.

This was wonderful!! Great range, notes on the money, and a capella, to boot!! Just beautiful!
Really, I am so glad you had the nerve to put this up - you done super-good, kiddo!
It may take awhile but I will try again :)
If you ever need to talk Pm me, I think we may have a lot in common and I'm sorry for that.
To remind you of your grandma, well I thank you for that. Very sweet of you to say.
ENCORE!!
I'm working on it...
I've always loved that song, notwithstanding the Janis factor, it's a true American standard - or sounds like one anyhow. Like somethin from the Appalachians, with a mandolin and some hand-clapping in the background.
Thanks for the acapella memory.
Carry that tune woman. You've got good tone.
Scarlett, Stellaa, and everyone I missed thank you all too!!!! I love everyone of you for the support you have given me to get this far!
