Sharing my joy, my yard, where I find peace in my s
sometimes too dark world.
I love how bleeding hearts look and this year mine have taken off
They remind me of Alice in Wonderland for some reason
Cactus almost in bloom
The honeysuckle that is taking over my yard...and that is okay.
The dwarf tangerine tree in bloom
My fountain my daughter bought me for my birthday
Impatient Zena Bear waiting for her walk...mom are you done yet?
My Lilac bush my mom gave me on my 30th birthday and a small bit of the patio.
I LOVE lavender
I
Flowers I moved to my place when we moved mom into the home
Her geranium
Mom's sweet olive I just this year planted in the ground seems Mr. Whiskers likes hiding behind it.
My first sweet pea bloom of the year. I planted one plant last year and without planting another seed have many seedlings I have given to others.
Flowers my youngest daughter gave me and my granddaughter helped me plant.
The tree I sit under
A gift from my youngest daughter that will soon be moved out on the lawn...where I am sitting now.

Rated for moments of peace.
Snippy, I had no idea you could do that with the + button! Thanks..
Joan, Zena Bear is my sweet old girl, I wish I had caught her Elvis look :)
Seer, It is pretty amazing how fast the word spreads! I can sit outside and all my worries melt away and for that short time I do find such peace.
It's always nice to sit in a garden, get lost in thought and generally just enjoy the simple and natural things in life.
Happy weekend, lovely lady.
Chicken Maaan, more at peace maybe than cheerful, but still a very good place for me to be right now.
Little Kate, I think I really needed to appreciate what I do have and this post helped me to do so. Happy weekend to you too my friend
I thank you all for reading, for enjoying my garden with me. I wish I could have you all over for a day to just sit and talk...OS will have to do for now :)
Gorgeous garden and photos. Many of my favourite flowers are in your pictures. I just bought a bleeding heart too.
Enjoy your walk with Zena Bear.
I loved Zena and hope today will be just as relaxing for you.
It's surrounds you like a cradle of blooms holding your hand.
Simply wonderful is your garden.

Lavender was a color much beloved by my sainted mother.
I decided to "saint " her, unilaterally, for putting up with me. Ha.
She's been dead awhile now, and quite happy , cuz she didnt
have to live through the computer age.
I write about her now as if she was still alive, just to tweak her.
Give her a giggle. She would have truly adored your garden,
but might have worried about tripping over Mr. Whiskers.
I bring up my mother cuz you were talking about death,
and the bird bath reminded me of mom, who took such joy
in those feathery little dinosaurs...

The laws of universe may seem mysterious to us at times. But I see no mystery here, only the healing power of the beauty you've shared.
Thank you for your obedience to the call you heard for you to be a light. :-)
