Yesterday I played again in the sun with Seta Color Transparent Paints and Crafters Workshop stencils.
I pinned this easy adjustable apron tutorial several months ago. See the directions on Purl Bee here. I made this apron out of canvas drop cloth.
Here is what it looked like after I sewed it. Okay but it needed some color. I thought about ice dyeing, but decided I wanted some control.
This is what it looks like today using Seta Color Transparent Paints, the Crafters Workshop Daisy Cluster Stencil and the sun.
Here is a close up of the apron.
While I was in the middle of the painting I decided to play on a piece of drill cloth.
For this piece I used the Cosmic Swirl stencil from Crafters Workshop.
And this one I used the Retro Squares stencil.
A couple of weeks ago when I used Seta Colors I thought the colors weren’t bright enough. This time I added less water to the paint and the colors were much more vibrant. This is such an easy way to paint fabric and it’s so much fun.
