I took my golden retriever, Ringo, down to the the Bradenton Farmer's Market last weekend and we had breakfast at Robins Downtown Cafe. I had eggs Benedict and Ringo had bacon. Robin's always gives Ringo 3 complimentary strips of bacon! We got to take some photos, so lets look!
Melissa Llyod out by me near Lakewood Ranch had the brightest display of ceramics. Ringo, my Golden Retriever, was more interested in the booth next door, pet treats by Ellie's Edible Paw Treats - prepared by Deanna Reano. [Yes, Ringo had a major hair cut over the summer. It is just growing back now.] Ringo went home with better treats than I had!
Melissa Lloyd owner of Philosopots and DeeAnna Reano owner of Ellie's Edible Treats worked very hard on their businesses and we talked a lot about how much work is involved. Photos taken by local author Deborah Dolen.

The Bradenton Farmer's Market is back for the season 2011-2012. The Bradenton Farmer's Market is open every Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Bradenton Farmer's Market runs until well into May of each year, being closed for the summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The Bradenton Farmer's market welcomes dogs and visitors will see many beautiful dogs being walked in the market.
At the Bradenton Farmer's Market the weather was lovely, cool and breezy. There was music and it was great. The guy with the Wisconsin piece of cheese on his head? I never got his name but he is funny and he is at the Bradenton Farmer's Market! I always take advice from a guy with cheese on his head. I heard they are "happier" than "us" and lead stress free lives. He does not sell the hats, I asked. Below are other photos I took, including one of Tyler's kid at Bradenton Bayside Church, which is an awesome church out in east Bradenton near Lakewood Ranch.
