I'm a liberal secular humanist who enjoys writing, reading, playing video games and watching sports. I am a former member of the Armed Services who now enjoys the sweet sweet freedom of civilian life. My blog will be centered mostly on politics, football and video games.
I'm not a professional hater, but I am a highly ranked amateur.
Also, yes, I am a girl.
Considering that my cats run and hide whenever Big Suck AKA the vacuum comes out of the closet, I'm amazed those kittens stayed on a noisy, moving contraption as long as they did.
LOL, this is very funny, although I also feel sorry for the kitties!
Stellaa, the point is you leave the room and it does the cleaning. You don't hear it.
I should have written about that for the open call. Roomba and Scooba are the pieces of technology that have changed my life for the better. No more floor cleaning!
Our cats would never have cared about this. When we first got then there was a lot of remodeling going on, so they they think the vacuum cleaners are no big deal. Now that one of them weighs 21 pounds, it would be Roomba surfing score kitty 1, Roomba 0.
Scooba is the floor washing robot. There is a veritable family of handy robots to help with household chores. One especially designed to clean animal hair, one to clean a workshop/garage and one to clean gutters on your roof. The only ones we have are the Roomba and Scooba.
I found this video compelling, perhaps more so than most of what I watch on TV.
When the roomba pushed the little kitten it delightfully increased the drama. Could he be hurt? Did he even care? We don't know, but we did see him very slowly move backwards.
Then at moment :21 we had the first slow motion flop off the roomba, then the second fell off. This reminded me most of the drama of election night when Pennsylvania and Ohio were called, assuming political parties can be accurately represented as kittens falling slowly off a little robot.
Then the tense last moments as the surviving kittens slowing approached the under-parts of the kitchen cabinets. I held my breath - would they be knocked off? Would their tiny little bodies be squished? The action escalating as they are pushed under not once but four times!
Then the moment of truth- I enjoyed how "survivor" kitten clung tenaciously to the roomba for a few victorious moments before being flung off. He deserves a medal.

Oh that's just AWESOME!!
I need a kid sized Roomba now! Just imagine how much fun that'd be!
I can't stop laughing!
(Actually, this is just too funny. Thanks for posting it.)

I'm trying to find a cat-ch all phrase for this, but I am at a loss for words. I cat has my tongue.
This could have been cat-a-strophic, but instead it was hilarious.
I've owned cats my whole life and I am always in awe about the way they handle life. We should all learn from our furry, feline friends.
Chuckle, but it is so wrong.
