I don't think you get the point here, Josh Duhamel

If you hadn't heard, the actor Josh Duhamel was recently kicked off a flight after refusing at least 3 requests from flight attendants to turn off his Blackberry. Duhamel ignored them and continued texting, until they ended up turning the plane around and escorting him off.

In a bit of follow up, here's a headline from a Today show article, which reads: "Josh Duhamel says 'lesson learned' after being kicked off flight".

The article blurb goes on:
Josh Duhamel is humble about a Dec. 2 incident on a flight bound for Kentucky, which resulted in him being escorted off the plane after he refused to power down his BlackBerry. "I learned that it's best to always turn them off," Duhamel said from a benefit for The Trevor Project in Los Angeles.
See, that's funny. I thought the lesson learned would have been: "Don't be a giant dick and/or act like an entitled celebrity jerkwad."

Oh, Mr. Fergie... I used to love you on All My Children, but this whole thing is very disappointing.

Well, "Leo" was a much better person than Josh seems to be. Unfortunately, his brother "David" is worse than the two of them put together. Considering you're an AMC fan, you'll completely understand who I am referring to.
Leo would have punched Josh in the face for his boorish behavior, methinks.

David would not only have continued texting until thrown off the plane, he probably would have come back later, drugged the flight attendant who threw him off in the first place, and then somehow convinced her that she was in love with him.
I'm not sure he graped the concept about inconveniencing all the other passengers. My post yesterday included a paragraph about Duhamel being my "Asshole of the Week." I said that, if he'd been sitting next to me, he'd have been married to a black eye, not a Black Eyed Pea.
mad_typist: Your comment made me laugh. The ONLY thing I would have added is that the pilot would probably have been that pathetic Nurse Gail! lol
True story: in 2001 I went to the Daytime Emmys, when Josh won for his work on AMC. Swoon. Oh right - he's still a jerk though. "Mr. Fergie" - LOL.
Love the "Mr. Fergie" reference! Couldn't agree with you more with your assessment of his behavior.

Some stars think that different rules apply for them. Remember Christian Bale's rant? He evidently thinks that the rules for being a human being don't apply to him. Perhaps they should have tossed Duhamel out the emergency exit to find out if the "star exemption" includes gravity.
