OK, so we're funding and supplying weapons to the "Free Syrian Army" along with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and so on (the rest are exactly who you think they are), and per Secretary of State Clinton, WE KNOW that the FSA is allied with Al-Qaeda, but even if they weren't, they, or any other group included in our "Enemy Combatants" list could get as many US purchased and provided assault rifles as they wanted because there is no confirmation process to ensure anyone is actually in the FSA, because the FSA is simply anyone willing to point their gun at Syrian Government Forces...like Al-Qaeda.

So, we're arming them over there so we don't have to arm them over here? The smoking gun might be a Smith & Wesson? After we re-supply them with an ample enough amount of weapons so as to be threatening again, then it's MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, because we can re-engage them in armed conflict?

Sound like crazy conspiracy theory? It might, but Obama is so cocky that he thinks (and, he's 100% right so far) he can do all this shit out in the open and get away with it (at least Bush had the courtesy to pretend that these wars in the Middle East were about stuff that wasn't the control of oil pipelines so that we could supply our allies in the area, especially India, who is experiencing commercially destructive blackouts currently, with enough oil to literally fuel their economy...yep, outsourcing has a cost even over there...)

 

Anyway, story #1 - we're supplying Al-Qaeda via the FSA, and we know it. (as does every other nation with an intelligence group not consisting of a monkey riding a horse backward)

Story #2 - If Syria fights back against these US equipped forces with their most effective weapons OR if they begin to destabilize, and it appears that these groups THAT WE ARMED might take over, then the US is going to come in and bomb them back to the stone ages.

Are you fucking kidding me? Creating war to fight war after 2 wars that have left our forces in no condition to fight a war?

 

Of course, all this come just as Kofi Annon is phasing out of his role as the special Syria peace envoy,  and his replacement, Lakhdar Brahimi, is pissing off both sides and forcing them to posture for a continued Civil War, which nearly assures US Military engagement in Syria.

THIS is why NOT allowing your president to call air strikes without FIRST getting approval from Congress, or ACTUALLY DECLARING WAR are important.  When you start skirting these "formalities", this is what happens.
