Beautiful work! The crispness of the steely water in Rhode Island and the warmth of that minty green water in Puerto Rico. . . what amazing contrast.
Thanks, rguillory! If I were an investment banker with a golden parachute, I'd own homes on the sea in New England and in my ancestral home Puerto Rico. Alas, all I can do is visit, for now. I live for contrasts!
These are luscious, Marco. Just stunning. I could stare at the first one forever, and I want to parachute into the last one, now. Love the progression, and the way they all work together. Susan is going to be very happy :)
Beautiful perspectives. I almost get a shiver, at the tail end of summer, seeing the frozen-looking Rhode Island coast.
simply stunning visuals. what wonderful vistas to wake up to on a Sunday morning. thank you.
beautiful, careful, exquisite compositions Marco. Very well done.

I've added your name to the list at the bottom of my post for Susan to have all the tributes in one spot. If I've missed someone, please let me know.

Great shots.
Wow. Donna, I am indeed very happy (you made me smile with that comment). I can never get enough of beauty like this. William Carlos Williams wrote, "It is difficult to get the news from poems, but men die miserably every day for lack of what is found there." I think a case could be made for the need to appreciate the visual beauty around us.

Marco, you clearly can see beauty and it is the great fortune of all of us that you can capture the beauty that you see and share it with us. The others here have chosen proper words for your vistas, "minty green," "luscious," "exquisite," "stunning." I will confess that to me that "hint of human habitation" adds rather than detracts from nature's brilliance. See, we can do it right, people! We just need to tread lightly. A wooden fence here, a green door there.

That green door... just wow. And thank you.
Oh, I also made a response to your comments over at my place ;)
As someone who has taken a dip in the waters of both #1 and #6, I have to say that I am missing a long swim in the waters off PR. My one venture into the New England ocean was horrific. Brrr!!

Beautiful vistas Marco. Que linda!
Thanks, everyone, and especially to Susan! This is the firrst time I've posted my own pics on the blog because honestly I'm a pedestrian-to-bad photographer. I cherry-picked these faves of mine which are mostly point-and-click at some awesome sites I was lucky enough to witness. Pigeon Point and Taos Pueblo are the two shots I can remember out of this bunch really consciously framing. I remember thinking of Milton Avery when I was looking through the lens for the Pigeon Point shot. But that's what was in front of me!

The Newport shot story is a post in and of itself. I had never seen the sea look like it did that October afternoon my friends and I came upon the scene. We felt incredibly lucky, but glad not to be in that water!
