Boy ain't that the truth?

I've worked a lot of years in retail and it has grown progressively worse as the years have passed - I can remember when I was aggravated by the Christmas stock arriving at the end of November..

My last year at Wally World was the year those blasted musical cards came out.. listening to them for two and a half months drove all of us batty and you could hear them throughout the whole d*mn store.. there was no escape 8-O.

Rated for can't beat 'em join 'em.
Maria, I definitely have seen this happening right now--the leftover Halloween candy at huge discounts, some Thanksgiving stuff thrown in for good measure, and red and white festive Christmas items now now overflowing in the aisles at most stores!
a Christmas gift for my father, which one is better? http://www.newflybuy.com ...
there are a lot of products on sale. Which one is better for 48 years old mom? Handbag, glasses or biniki? Please help.
Spot on! Thanks for the laugh!
If there is a "War on Christmas" going on as Bill O'Reilly insists, seems to me that Christmas has been winning all the battles, and has been for years. Working retail jobs at Christmastime is enough to make one really hate one's fellow humans, some days.

While my mother was dating an observant Jewish gentleman, I saw Christmas, which my family had always celebrated despite our collective agnosticism, from a new perspective. Christmas for those who don't celebrate it for whatever reason, is both overwhelming and isolating and it makes them feel like they're A, out of the mainstream and B, that there must be something wrong with them. Seems to me Christmas can still be celebrated, but it doesn't need to be mashed into everyone's faces.
