Chris Rock: 'I'll go with the guy with one house'
Comedian Chris Rock on Larry King last night:
ROCK: The big thing right now is the economy. And people are going broke. And here: The choice isn't Republican or Democrat. The choice is you got a guy that's worth $150 million with 12 [sic] houses against a guy who's worth a million dollars with one house. The guy with one house really cares about losing a house, because he is homeless. The other guy can lose five houses and still got a bunch of houses. Does this make any sense? Am I the only one that sees this?
LARRY KING: It's unique way of ...
ROCK: I'm just saying, John McCain could lose half his houses. And sleep well. ... The country needs a change. We kind of seen what this whole McCain thing is. And I'll go with the guy with one house. The guy with one house is scared about losing his house.
LARRY KING: I never thought of it that way.
ROCK: It is that simple.
It's a great point of comparison. Never mind the commercial about how McCain owns "foreign cars" meant to appeal to auto workers' xenophobia. Just ask voters who they really trust to lead the economy away from something that benefits only the super-rich to something that benefits everyone -- the guy with eight houses, or the guy with one?

Yeah - definitely vote for the guy with one house. How could you not?
I missed him on Larry King--pretty sure LK does repeats for the week following so I will look for this interview.
Thanks for making a post out of it.

I used to like Dennis Miller. His rant on Dockers pants is down right funny. Well, then he got all self-righteous and high on the fumes from the elephant's bunghole and totally lost it. He wasn't funny playing jester to people that think denying healthcare to veterans is a private joke. I think his career, his mainstream career is over and he knows it.
It's great to see people in the music industry taking a stand too. How can anyone not take a stand although sometimes their stands are somewhat confusing. Sammy Hagar is a wingnut?
Power to the people that are going to have to bear the weight of the Bushist agenda!!!
