All-girl nude wrestling: the naked truth

Rate: 1 Flag

Today on the main salon.com, Tracy Clark Flory wrote about the odd pornographic all-female wrestling events held by kink.com, the online porn site.

I visited kink.com in 2008 and covered this phenomenon. View my account here: Wrestling with Reality at Kink.com.

Funny, I was just thinking about that event the other day -- how it was pornographic without being particularly sexy. The sex was "real" in that penetration and so on was happening right in front of your eyes, less than twenty feet away -- but its performative quality took all the sexiness out of it. In fact, it was more of an athletic event -- more so than the wrestling itself.

Afterward they took me on a tour of part of the facility. You can view my (SFW) photo set at Flickr.

Wow Mark. The Kink.com compound is so austere. Everything looks so cold. It kind of makes the Bob Crane porn pics look much more inviting with all the shag carpeting and sofas.
Yes, I think the "interrogation" and prison-type sets are all set up to highlight performers' skin tones over the surroundings. You can see how even the civilians on the tour pop out of the background grays. But in general the whole basement (which is where all those photos were taken) is cold and dank and very forbidding. (Caveat: The photos were taken in 2009, so the place may have changed since then.)
