IAEA Poised to Release Iran ‘Evidence’ Centering Around Computer Simulations

Satellite Image of 'Large Steel Container' Said to Be Part of Release

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been hyping an impending release of “evidence” of a clandestine nuclear weapons program in Iran for awhile, butnow diplomats are leaking parts of the evidence to the media in an effort to get people talking.

This is a particularly bad time for major “evidence” to come to light, as Israeli and US officials are once again in one of their periods of hyping a possible impending attack on Iran, and it will only fuel that speculation.

But the reality is, the “evidence” leaked so far appears fairly minimal even as it is being touted as particualrly damning. Reports will allege that Iran has conducted some computer simulations of nuclear explosions.

The physical evidence, to the extent it can be called that, are a “large steel container” at a military base outside of Tehran which is believed to have been used for high explosive testing.

Which might conceivably have something to do with a nuclear weapon, but since the container is on the base used for research into explosives and missiles, might also be totally unrelated to anything but conventional weaponry.

The leaks are mostly a new excuse to insist that most of the world, including many Sunni Arab regimes around Israel, are all in favor of attacking Iran. At the same time all this new “evidence” emerges, the IAEA is expected to once again verify the non-diversion of nuclear material to any military purpose.

WMDs??? Where in the heck are Saddam's WMDs? They must be here, somewhere!
War with Iran would be a huge mistake the Persians are not Arabs they will not run away after our overpaid mercenary's fire off a couple;e of rounds from their M16’s
so far as i can tell, iran's only consistent sin has been to refuse to listen to the government of the usa.

talk about playing with fire...

but the iranians have some cards nowadays. shoulder fired weapons, of which they have plenty, and a fast motor boat, are all you need to close off half the world's oil.

israel is talking tough for internal consumption, but likely to follow through out of insanity. i almost feel sorry for obama, but he sought the job. very possibly he thought that his was the only window of opportunity a black american would get to take the oval office.
"Weapons of Mass Distraction" are, indeed, what these collusionists of empire are truely seeking

as the forces of public awareness, generational shift and replacement, and climate change revelations, continue the work of eroding the old postmodern scripts

of benign hopefulness, and blind belief in a benevolent and continuously increasing prosperity (without any costs to the planet or population) and the "white" or now, "black" knight hero worship, that would bring that about

ding-dong the Disney era is truely dead, the old fairy tales, all nightmares now.
Do we know enough about the details of explosives testing to know what such containers are typically used for? I don't get a sense for which side is dissembling more here; it could go either way. We could either be looking at "the only reason people ever build these things is for testing involving the development of nuclear weapons" or at "gee, this container Could be used for the testing involving the development of nuclear weapons along with having a couple dozen other uses - let's assume to be safe that its intention is ultimately nuclear." Do you know of more details or does that remain to be seen?
I have a question for those commenting here. Regardless of whether the "evidence" the author posts above is credible, how do you all writing comments feel about Iran getting the bomb? I am not saying they ARE getting it. I am not saying it is ON THE WAY. I am asking a hypothetical. Let's assume it is not close to getting it, but will have it, say within 10 years. Assuming too that the government of that country remains the same (philosophically anyway), how do you all feel about that country having the bomb?
THAT war would be utter catastrophe, Jack.

Thank You, Al - that should answer babs, question, below.

How many times have we heard this claim, before, Kosh?

How many times can one be "on the verge?"

I think we're being bullish*tted, again.

Thanks for stopping by.
