We sing glad songs about what is to "come" and all that's "long expected" leading up to December 25th. Today is the 26th. I just read a post by a friend who spoke of his neighbor putting the Christmas tree on the curb in front of his house at 4pm YESTERDAY after quite obviously putting all the annual decorations away until next year.
As I read this I recalled HATING going back to work the day after Christmas years ago. Was this because I wanted to be home enjoying more of the special time of the year? No, honestly it was not. It was because of an annual comment by a dear old lady who worked with me. She truly was dear, but misguided. Emily was quick and loud each year on the day after Christmas to declare to us that "well, it's over!"
Is it over for you? If so, it's really and truly a time for you to RAISE YOUR EXPECTATIONS because, dear reader, it's only just beginning!
