Sicily -- Everyone's Curiosity

Rate: 5 Flag

Periodically I share on this page my Travel pieces on Yahoo. Lately so many people tell me they yearn to see Sicily, so here's an armchair jaunt I offered recently to give the uninitiated a chance for a taste of Sicilia.

Enjoy!

My father was born in Palermo but went to Canada at age 5, so never told us anything about it. Looks lovely.
Christine, you MUST go visit as soon as you can. Sicily is a magical place.
Beautiful, inviting photography. Did you do that?
All the photos are from Wikicommons images gallery-- a good source for bloggers since they post public domain photos with no copyright issues by talented amateur and professional photographers around the globe. Glad you like 'em!
Yes, Sicily is on my bucket list. Thanks
You know how much I love Italy! But I've never been south of Rome. Your post makes me want to see Sicily. I also liked your previous article about Italy in general.
trilogy...skip the bucket list...go asap..life is short anyway and Italy is magic

Paul...Italy BEGINS in Rome and grows in beauty the farther south you travel (my roots are in Ischia) ! All kidding aside, it's ALL beautiful.
I've been to the Valley of the Temples and, if that's Etna, then to the city below too. Briefly. The island is on my *return* list.
Thanks, Myriad, for the read and comment...and yes, return to Sicily, as soon as you can!
