Going going gone... Chipotle screens "Food, Inc."

Rate: 3 Flag

Frankly Chipotle, I find your cuisine mediocre at best.  But MAD PROPS for this promotion!

Throughout July, the chain has been hosting free screenings of the film "Food Inc." at various locations around the country. Takeaway quote from Chipotle founder and CEO Steve Ellis, "I hope all our customers see this film."

If you live in Columbus or Scottsdale there's still time to catch it.

Hard to imagine McDonald's sponsoring viewing parties for "Supersize Me," isn't it?

Buy green jade toothpicks! It be brutal humid.
Let's go eat three 1/3rd ponder Angus burgers?
If that's the way they spell chipotle, they've got other problems, too.
Taco Bell is mediocre.

Chipolte is goddamn delicious.
Chipotle is awesome. I won't hear a bad word said about it.
Starting Aug 1, 2009, eating in public will be considered a misdemeanor offense in Los Angeles.
Chipotle actually does a great deal to source their products ethically and sustainably and from natural and organic sources.

But the rub is that their calorie and fat contents are so high that actually eating a chipotle burrito is probably not one of the best things you could do for yourself. It is goddamn delicious though, and when I was pregnant I couldn't get enough of them.
Mad Props indeed.

BTW, it's quite easy to get your food from local farms. Unless your state outlaws it...I hate large agrobusinesses...
