Fasten your seatbelts, Chi Bi/Queers. This could be a bumpy ride. I'm still playing catch-up, racing about to contribute my share to our contingent in Chicago's Pride Parade. We have a reputation to keep up after setting a bold standard last year. Chicago's Pride Parade lifts off this Sunday, June 27, at noon.
Nevertheless, we've sailed into Pride Season undaunted. Why?
Reason #1: Without radical bi leatherwoman Brenda Howard, there would be no month of June commemorating the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the beginning of the modern LGBTQ movement in America. Next time someone asks what the B has done for the LGT, tell them all about Brenda.

Brenda is the comely young butch in braids and glasses, second from the left.
Reason #2: We have Captain Bisexual.
