Jehmu Green is a current contributor to Fox News. The daughter of Liberian refugees she claims has had “first-hand knowledge of the realities of war and social disorder. By witnessing her family's ordeal in Liberia, she gained a true sense of democracy and the freedoms that are inherent”.

Her bio on Huffington Post says she is “an evangelist for disenfranchised, vulnerable, and marginalized communities.” Impressive.

My experience, watching her on Fox is that rather than one of the most beautiful and remarkable women in the world (as Essence Magazine voted her to be) I find her to be an unabashed ideologue. Nothing President Obama does or says is ever met with anything but her glowing affirmation. This represents a stunning 180 for her.

She has undergone an amazing metamorphous from a rabid Hillary supporter and Obama basher to now an Obama supporter. She earlier stated that Obama was a bully and thereby manipulated the political system in order to secure the Democratic nomination.

She does not think. She recycles pro Obama bumper stickers. In addition to this she talks over other guests and interviewers. She misbehaves as if she is on the Jerry Springer Show not an international cable TV political opinion panel.

On Your world Cavuto, a guest interviewer attempted to mediate between her and Sarah Flowers, an Obama supporter, in May 2008.

Jehmu Greene supported Hillary and called Obama’s campaign “desperate to wrap up the nomination before the Democratic party has to make a decision about Florida and Michigan”. She accused the Obama campaign of “latching onto” negatives about Hillary and distributing them to the press. She reiterated her startling claim that the Obama campaign were “bullying a lot of the super delegates to make their decision before the votes of all Americans have been cast...The American people have not quit on (Hillary), she won’t quit on them. She is in it to win it”.

Jehmu in her usual fashion interrupted the other guest at interview 2008, insisting that Senator Clinton “is clearly (‘clearly’ is a word she over uses) the most electable candidate…She is winning in every poll. She is the best prepared most qualified candidate… She leads in the popular vote.”

Sarah Flowers was amazingly skilled at controlling the interview and refocusing the discussion on what she wanted to say by splitting the truth she wanted to present from other less convenient truths. In true fashion Jehmu talked over and interrupted her. When she realized that Sarah was ‘winning’ she flipped to “I agree with you” concerning getting the most electable Democratic candidate to nomination. Of course she was agreeing only with that concept not on the candidate to be nominated.

See here’s the thing, ideologues on either side that refuse to talk, refuse to honestly engage and insist on verbally cutting and pasting talking points, which President Bill Clinton took to an art form, do themselves and the national discourse a disservice. In my opinion, Jehmu personifies this disservice.
