Celebrating Curves

Rate: 5 Flag

Our fellow commenter at Eschaton brings this to our attention:

Moonbootica, ODST : this blog celebrates curves...

ANOTHER DOSE OF FIERCE: ON THE RUNWAY...

"As the kickoff to New York Fashion Week gets closer and my anticipation builds, I figured for this week’s ‘Dose of Fierce’ I’d post images of plus models working it on the runway! There are images from Elena Miro, Monif C, City Chic, Qristyl Frazier and more! Also there are a few videos from City Chic and Elena Miro’s runway shows. Enjoy!"

Celebrates curves? It sure the hell does. Damn.

Wow.

Damn.

Go there for the extra goodness. Fabulous.

Celebrate to your heart's content! One thing I had thankfully learned by my twenties was to be attracted to men who prefer curves to angles. (r)
Thanks for your comments! I really enjoyed this topic. As a man who adores the curvier figure, as well as fashion, I am really encouraged by the rather long list of big-girl bloggers determined to share their personal fashion sense to the Net and to the world!
Beautiful women in beautiful clothes. Reminds me of Lucille Clifton's poem, "Homage to My Hips."
Given your intolerance for differing political views, I had to search your blog for a topic we agree on and I found it! Great post and wonderful photos.

Might surprise you to know, I'm your home girl, btw. I was in Houston a couple of years ago while in Texas for a class reunion. I
was there visiting a man I met fifteen years ago in New York at a New
Year's End party for large women and their admirers. He moved to Texas hoping I'd come back home some day. I plan to. My family owns 200 acres in Central Texas.

A little sad that the only person who invited me to leave OS is a fellow Texan, but I love this post and will rate it anyway. Good luck, home boy!
